About Rog

I have been building models of one type or another for 20+ years. As a kid I built the odd car and aircraft, model rockets and ships. I then moved into painting 25mm fantasy figures for several years. Unfortunately I don't have any of those clasics left.

Around 17 or 18 I got back into building models and have been since. Initially I built mainly armor and aircraft(jets). I don't have many of the aircraft I built back in the late 80's early 90's being the victims of several moves. I built the odd car but mainly stuck to armor and building Dioramas.

Around 1991 I started to collect and play Warhammer 40k. I currently have three armies: Space Wolves, Tau and IG. I've built a table to play on and a fair amount of scenery. Currently I am working on a number of cityfight building. In about 2002 I started to branch out again into other subjects. Currently my interes are:

  • Aircraft (1/48th)
  • Cars
  • SciFi
  • Anime (Gundam/Patlabor)
  • Figures
  • Warhammer
  • Rocketry

By day I masquerade as a Software Development Manager for a fairly large Airline services provider, husband and father of 4. I've posted models on other sights but decided to create this site so showcase my work. I built it from scratch (I'm sure I have re-invented the wheel here a few times) and it's been fun writing code again.
