Here are three quick shots of my models unpacked and placed basically where ever I had room for now. I will be putting up more shelving in the recroom to better display/store them.
Here are a few models that have yet to be propery photographed. There are more in storage still but those will have to wait until I have more shelving up in the basement. Included are:
- Diorama of Canadian Soldiers in Europe 1945
- M60A3
- Universal Carrier
- Votoms
- Jagdtiger
- A26 Invader
Unpacked models last night. Here are the shots of the majority of my "stash" of unbuilt kits. I counted them.... 200+ kits.
I have more aircraft than I remember, three kits of the Viper from BSG (how did that happen), two Staghounds (almost remember buying those) and two Strykers. Hummmmmm... I have a few more boxs still to unpack that may contain unbuilt kits.
On our trip to Victoria we went to Miniature world. It is a really cool place. It is broken into eras/subjects. I am not going to post them all here, just the ones that pertain to my model building hobby.
A short one today. Here is "Space 2200" or something like that. It was a dark tunnel with diorama's suspended in the wall depicting various space-scapes.

Part 2 is an interesting one. An "airborne" diorama. In this one the display was built into the wall and the various models were either mounted through the wing to the all or hung from the top of the display. The subject is the Battle of Britain. It depicts a group of RAF fighters intercepting Luftwaffe bombers. The various models are built in smaller scales as you move from front to back, giving the illusion of greater distance from the front of the diorama to the back.

First up is a diorama of Canadian troops taking Caen France during WWII. It is an interesting diorama and accurate for what I can tell (except for a few vehicles that I don't think were used by Canadian forces).
I am not sure when this was built, I can identify many of the models used, pretty much all of them actually. It's well detailed for the distance that it is viewed at.
