I moved the site navigation from the left side to the top of the layout. Also added a link to the login panel to allow a visitor to log out of Rog's Models. As well the panel now sticks around and welcomes you by name.
I've added a page that allows you to search all models, blogs and current projects on Rogsmodels.com. You can type in any number of search words and it will search for any entry that contains one or more of those words.
I have added a "Current Projects" page. Here is will display WIP photo's and postings of what I am working on. Right now it will conical my work on the basement. I have tranfered all my basement blog posts to the Current Projects page.
Here is where I currently display a few of my models. The rest are in boxes or shelves in the garage. I had to bring a few in so that at least somewhere in the house had "me" in it.
Anyways, here is the picture of my family room with a few models jammed on the shelves.
I've added the ability for users to update their profile. Once I have added you go to the members page, click on your name. Your details will be displayed. Click on the "EDIT" link next to your user name to edit your details.
You can edit your:
* Name
* Email Address
* About You
One day I may add a small user icon and possibly a workshop photo (i'm always interested in what a users workshop looks like).
Because of the spam I have been forced to limit commenting to site Members only. To get a username and password click the "get login here" link in the Login panel and include your name and desired user name in the email.
My lovely wife gave me this for my Birthday over the weekend. It was a belated celebration due to some events around my birthday that required us to delay the celebration.
Looking though the kit I am still amazed at how much stuff comes in some of these new kits these days. Turned aluminum barrel, tones of photo etch, tracks I don't have to clip off of the runner or attache the center guide tooth to. The detail is amazing.
Now all I need to do is get my hobby room finished (currently on hold due to a lack of a fiscal stimulus package targeted directly at my basement) and I will actually be able to start building again.
I have had to implement a simple password for now on all comments. This is because some people have been mass posting crap on the site and I have had to delete 100's of rogue posts.
If you wish to post let send me an email and I will give you the comment password.
